Daniel Cea

Born in Mataró, he began his piano studies at age 4, and at 9 he switched to saxophone, eventually graduating with a degree in drums as his main instrument at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona, ​​specializing in jazz and modern music performance.

He lived for a time in Valladolid, which allowed him to study in Madrid to further his drumming skills, where he took lessons from Ángel Crespo and Horacio el Negro, among others. He also took composition lessons from Joan Albert Amargós at the Taller de Músics.

He works in a variety of styles, from classic jazz to contemporary fusion.

Professionally, he has trained since his adolescence with local bands, brass bands, orchestras, and cover bands, and has toured nationally with artists such as Carlos Sadness and Maren, among others. He has also toured with the musical "Almost Normal" with singer Nina and is currently active with the band Ladilla Rusa with whom he has toured Mexico.
