Claudio Marrero

Claudio Marrero (1988) saxophonist, flutist, clarinist, composer, arranger, conductor and producer. He began his musical studies in the music band of his town, at the age of 10 he began to play the clarinet. Then he went on to play saxophone. Then he expanded his studies at the Conservatory of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. There he began his studies of both classical music and jazz and modern music. Later, he moved to Barcelona where he studied at the Music Workshop and ESMUC.

In the professional section, he has performed with musicians from the jazz world in the aspect of big bans such as Maria José Llergo, Paquito de Rivera, New York Voices, Tim Garlam, Débora Carter, etc. He is currently the director of his project BEO (Big Electric Orchestra) and CMS project, projects with which he has recorded several albums. Apart from participating as Sideman and producer on multiple albums with artists such as DUMA, Jose Alberto Medina, Gran Canaria Big Band, Yull Balleteros and a feature length, etc.
